Frequently asked questions about sports project tokenization
Clear answers to the questions investors and clubs ask. If yours is not here, get in touch.

To finance a project, a club can issue digital tokens that represent its shares or a debt issuance. These tokens come with economic rights over the club's future revenue selected in each case (ticketing, sponsorships, image and TV rights, stadium rentals, concerts…). This is recorded on the blockchain and can be transferred between investors.
Any verified user on the platform can acquire tokens for the available projects, subject to the regulatory restrictions of each jurisdiction. Some assets are not available in certain countries.
The revenue each project produces (ticket sales, sponsorships, event rentals and naming rights) is distributed periodically among the holders of that token, in proportion to their stake and according to the terms of each issuance.
Depending on the terms of each issuance, you can sell your tokens on a secondary market, without waiting for the club or league to organise an exit round. Liquidity is not guaranteed: it depends on there being buyers.
It depends on the project. Tokenization is a financing mechanism that gives investors economic rights and, only in some cases such as club acquisitions, political rights. In most cases, clubs and operators keep the sporting and business management of their sports projects, and token holders only share in the economic flow of each issuance.
We work with regulated custodians, independent third-party smart contract audits, and a dedicated compliance team that validates every issuance before it goes live on the platform.
You may lose some or all of the money you invest. Revenue depends on the project's activity and is not guaranteed, you may not find a buyer when you want to sell, and regulation may change. Read the risk warning before investing.
A fan token usually gives engagement perks and experiences, but no rights over a club's revenue. On Vestadium, each token is linked to the revenue of a specific sports project, under the terms set by its issuance.
Each project sets its own minimum amount, shown on its project page. Only invest money you can afford to lose.
